Caleb is a handsome American Pit Bull Terrier mix, somewhere between 1 1/2 and 2 years old. He’s a friendly young dog who always tries his best – he’ll benefit from kind handling, good exercise and a consistent routine. Going to a positive (reward-based) training class would be a great way to help him settle and bond in a new home. “Caleb is one of our gentler players,” says Jane, the professional dog trainer who works at APS. “He will do bursts of a chase game and get everyone running and then he will stop and admire the view! He has never been in conflict with anyone. Caleb is really the gentleman of the playgroup and would love an equally gentle friend to play with. He would also be fine as a spoiled single dog.” Caleb will be a lovely companion for a loving, committed family.

Caleb lives in kennel 30. For more information about Caleb, contact doginfo@apsofdurham.org. To view his webpage, visit apsofdurham.org/caleb.

Adoption fees for dogs and puppies typically range from $100-$175, which includes a basic medical exam, spay or neuter surgery, microchip implantation, rabies and other vaccinations, intestinal parasite check, heartworm test and deworming.
