Presley is a hound with a big heart and lots of love to give! He’s curious, sweet, sensitive and vocal. He loves exploring and going for strolls in the park but is also happy to take a long nap at your feet. Presley is looking for a forever home that’ll let him sniff all kinds of new smells, give him lots of treats (especially peanut butter or cottage cheese), and let him lounge around the house. Visit Presley’s webpage to learn more and come visit him at the Animal Protection Society of Durham today!
The Animal Protection Society of Durham, located at 2117 E. Club Blvd., is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been helping animals in the community since 1970, and has managed the Durham County Animal Shelter since 1990. In addition to county funding, APS relies on donations from individuals and corporations to feed, shelter and provide medical attention for the nearly 7,000 stray, surrendered and abused animals it cares for each year. APS of Durham is open to the public for adoptions and animal visitations. To set up a virtual visit or to adopt, send adoption forms to adopt@apsofdurham.org. Same-day adoptions are now available in the shelter. For more information, email adopt@apsofdurham.org.
