Shasta is still young, a little younger than 1 year old, and that means she has lots of energy! But this clever girl has great impulse control and is very food-motivated so training will be easy and so much fun! All in all, this happy, fun-loving pup would flourish in a home with an energetic, committed family, where she can get some positive training, a lot of exercise and tons of love.

For more information about Shasta, contact doginfo@apsofdurham.org. To view her webpage, visit apsofdurham.org/dogs/shasta. To read her Bull City Dogs blog, click here.

Adoption fees for dogs and puppies typically range from $100-$175, which includes a basic medical exam, spay or neuter surgery, microchip implantation, rabies and other vaccinations, intestinal parasite check, heartworm test and deworming.

Thanks to our sponsors, new owners of each adopted featured pet will receive a complimentary first wellness visit from Park Vet Hospital and a free full day of camp at Camp Bow Wow.
