Melba is a playful, enthusiastic young dog, about 4 years old. She’s energetic and very athletic (she can jump!), and would most likely do well in agility. Since she’s smart and food-motivated, she’ll be lots of fun to train. She has proved to be a little too interested in cats, so will be best placed in a cat-free home. Melba is looking for an active, committed family who’ll make sure she stays active (mentally and physically!), and who would enjoy taking her to obedience class.

For more information about Melba, contact doginfo@apsofdurham.org. To view her webpage, visit apsofdurham.org/dogs/melba.

Adoption fees for dogs and puppies typically range from $100-$175, which includes a basic medical exam, spay or neuter surgery, microchip implantation, rabies and other vaccinations, intestinal parasite check, heartworm test and deworming.

Thanks to our sponsors, new owners of each adopted featured pet will receive a complimentary first wellness visit from Park Vet Hospital and a free full day of camp at Camp Bow Wow.
