Cocoa Cinnamon owners Areli and Leon Grodski de Barrera have a third and final location in the works. This installment is a micro-roastery that will supply Cocoa Cinnamon coffee to all three locations and feature rotating guest roasters’ coffees as well.
The design of the new location at 2013 Chapel Hill Road is in the hands of David Solow Art + Design and will meld with the Lakewood area’s unique character. The couple’s recent trips to Guadalajara and the Mediterranean will also inform the shop’s aesthetic and menu, keeping the energy and history of coffee and chocolate at the forefront of the experience.
The community coffee option popular at the other locations is also part of the plan, as are made-to-order churros, and of course, chocolate.
