Marge is a sweet, gentle, wonderful American Pit Bull Terrier who’s about 2 years old. She came to the shelter with her adorable puppy, Eliza (who’s been adopted!), to whom she was a fabulous mother, and she looks as if she’s had many, many puppies previously.
Now that her puppy-rearing days are over, Marge is ready for some fun! She has a surprising (and very endearing) playful side – she loves to chase a tennis ball, which she bats between her paws, and adores her toys. Since she’s very attentive and food-motivated, she’ll be a great dog to train.
Marge enjoys the shelter’s doggy playgroup. Jane, the dog trainer who set up and oversees the group, says, “Marge and Sawyer are a love match! They have the same play: chase, then roll and then relax. They are a fabulous pair together!”
You couldn’t find a nicer dog than Marge! She’s waiting for the loving home she deserves.
Marge lives in kennel 26. For more information about Marge, contact doginfo@apsofdurham.org. To view her webpage, visit apsofdurham.org/marge.
