Fred is a bit timid when he first meets new people, but if you go slow with him, soon he’ll be snuggling up to you. He may even nudge your hand for you to pet him or play! He’s as sweet as can be.

For more information about Popsicle, contact adopt@apsofdurham.org. To view his webpage, visit apsofdurham.org/cats/fred.

This month, in honor of Adopt-a-Shelter Dog Month, cats have a reduced adoption fee of $50 and dogs have a reduced adoption fee of $75, sponsored by Two Men and a Truck for Movers For Mutts. Adoption fees for cats and kittens are typically $95. That fee includes a basic wellness exam, parasite check, heartworm test and deworming, spay or neuter surgery, microchip implantation, rabies and other vaccinations, and start off with one month of free pet insurance. The adoption fee for a second cat is just $50 when adopting two together.

Thanks to our sponsors, new owners of each adopted featured pet will receive a complimentary first wellness visit from Park Veterinary Hospital & Urgent Care and a free full day of camp at Camp Bow Wow.
