The Animal Protection Society of Durham held its annual Tails at Twilight Gala at The Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club to benefit the Durham shelter and its animals. More than 260 guests participated in silent and live auctions and raffles at the Wizard of Oz-themed event, raising $127,500 to help “animals in need find the yellow brick road to their forever homes.”
