This dapper gentleman is the cuddliest bunny you’ll ever meet! Professor Higgins adores being held and will happily soak up all the gentle face scratches and snuggles you can give. He’s a veggie connoisseur and loves nibbling on greens while hopping around. When it’s playtime, his favorite enrichment is simple but delightful: toilet paper rolls stuffed with hay! Whether he’s snuggling or playing, Professor Higgins will charm his way into your heart. Visit Professor Higgins’ webpage to learn more and come visit him at the Animal Protection Society of Durham today!

The Animal Protection Society of Durham, located at 2117 E. Club Blvd., is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been helping animals in the community since 1970, and has managed the Durham County Animal Shelter since 1990. In addition to county funding, APS relies on donations from individuals and corporations to feed, shelter and provide medical attention for the nearly 7,000 stray, surrendered and abused animals it cares for each year. APS of Durham is open to the public for adoptions and animal visitations. To set up a virtual visit or to adopt, send adoption forms to adopt@apsofdurham.org. Same-day adoptions are now available in the shelter. For more information, email adopt@apsofdurham.org.
