Cam is a shoo-in for best cuddler and even better kisser. She’s sure to brighten your day with her enthusiasm for life and fabulous smile. After a recent doggy day out, Cam showed that she is an excellent car rider, easy to walk, loves any attention she can get and is quite the people person. Cam also does well with other canine friends! She’s tolerant of those who like to play rough, though it isn’t her personal style. She would definitely benefit from some basic training and people or a family with kids aged 8 and older who can give her lots of opportunities to keep her occupied, she’s got quite the busy brain. Adoption fees for dogs and puppies typically range from $125-$175. This includes a basic medical exam and behavioral assessment, spay or neuter surgery, microchip implantation, rabies and other vaccinations, intestinal parasite check (with treatment, control and prevention), a heartworm test and deworming.
The Animal Protection Society of Durham, located at 2117 E. Club Blvd., is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been helping animals in the community since 1970, and has managed the Durham County Animal Shelter since 1990. In addition to county funding, APS relies on donations from individuals and corporations to feed, shelter and provide medical attention for the nearly 7,000 stray, surrendered and abused animals it cares for each year.
