This snuggly, charming cat has been through a lot since he arrived at the Animal Protection Society of Durham. He finally hit the adoption floor recently, showing that he’s timid, but brave, and ready to pack his bags and move in with you. Because Bam Bam is feline leukemia virus (FeLV) positive, he will need to be the only feline friend in your home and may need additional TLC. But don’t let that stop you from coming to meet this stellar fellow and giving him a loving forever home. Visit Bam Bam’s webpage to learn more and come see him at APS today!
The Animal Protection Society of Durham, located at 2117 E. Club Blvd., is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been helping animals in the community since 1970, and has managed the Durham County Animal Shelter since 1990. In addition to county funding, APS relies on donations from individuals and corporations to feed, shelter and provide medical attention for the nearly 7,000 stray, surrendered and abused animals it cares for each year. APS of Durham is open to the public for adoptions and animal visitations. To set up a virtual visit or to adopt, send adoption forms to adopt@apsofdurham.org. Same-day adoptions are now available in the shelter. For more information, email adopt@apsofdurham.org.
