Chelsea is a curious and playful girl looking for a comfy place to call her own. She takes her time getting to know new people, so go slow with her. She loves to play and will happily chase after a ball or toy. Toss one and see! She loves treats, pets and especially exploring. Her nose takes her all kinds of interesting places.

Chelsea is still receiving medical care, so the Animal Protection Society of Durham is looking for someone to Foster to Adopt only. If interested, complete the foster application. To view Chelsea’s webpage, visit Same-day adoptions are now available in the shelter.

Adoption fees for dogs and puppies typically range from $100-$175. This includes a basic medical exam, spay or neuter surgery, microchip implantation, rabies and other vaccinations, intestinal parasite check, a heartworm test and deworming.

Thanks to our sponsor, new owners of each adopted featured pet will receive a free full day of camp at Camp Bow Wow.
