The Point 262: Solo Run – Thursday, 6am-Friday, midnight – Hosted by Bull City Running Co. and Fullsteam Brewery, this original 100th of a marathon encourages participants to run on their own time this year and post a picture or video on the discussion thread of the Facebook event or tag @bullcityrunning and @fullsteambrewery on Instagram. A few runners at random will win a prize pack from the two businesses.

Walk on the Wild Side: The Piedmont Prairie – Thursday, 11am-noon – This event, part of series of adult education programs hosted by Sarah P. Duke Gardens, covers topics from horticulture and home gardening to natural history and arts and crafts. This month, curator Annabel Renwick and horticulturist Maegan Luckett discuss plants in the Piedmont prairie, the history of the ecosystem and how prairies provide benefits today. Register in advance to receive your Zoom link.

Virtual RTPfit Meditation – Thursday, 11:45am-12:15pm – Frontier RTP hosts a virtual meditation session with Haven E. Carter, who will lead the 30-minute meditation via Zoom.

Sugar Skull Decorating Workshop – Thursday, 6-8pm – Crafts and Drafts NC and Calaveras La Catrina co-host a workshop for people to decorate their own sugar skull while learning about the rich cultural influence of Dia De Los Muertos.

Food Truck Flix – Friday and Saturday, 7pm – Frontier RTP hosts a drive-thru movie featuring “The Greatest Showman” on Friday and “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” on Saturday. Various local food trucks will be on-site for a safe, socially distanced night out. All proceeds from parking passes will be donated to Inter-Faith Food Shuttle

Jake’s Ride – Saturday, 9:30am – University KIA of Durham sponsors an escorted motorcycle ride raising awareness for suicide prevention and awareness in honor of Jake Mapstone. Riding is free, but donations are strongly encouraged.

Live Music with the Wiley Fosters – Saturday, 6-9pm – Unscripted Durham hosts live music on The Patio with limited, socially distanced outdoor seating.

Whiskey & Wings Pt. 2 – Sunday, noon-6pm – Raging Bull Harley-Davidson offers local whiskey from Mystic Distillery and fresh wings with unique sauces, like a custom whiskey blend barbecue sauce. The event is dedicated to military personnel, and all proceeds benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. You can also peruse the inventory at the shop. Don’t forget to wear your mask and stay socially distanced!

Reggae on the Rooftop – Sunday, 4-6pm – Relax poolside on Unscripted’s rooftop with a view of downtown. DJ Algoriddim brings a selection of classic, old-school reggae tunes live on vinyl. Free and open to the public, 21 and older.
