5 Points Gallery and Online Exhibition – Through July 30 –To celebrate its first anniversary, 5 Points Gallery presents special works by their in-house artists. Guests are encouraged to set up an appointment for a private, in-person experience, or purchase eye-catching work online. Couples Mixology Class – Friday, 7-8:30pm – Profound Elegance Romance Concierge hosts a mixology lesson and date night with Diesha Banner, who will share mixology techniques and how to make three unique cocktails over Zoom.
‘One Eno’ EnoFest 2020 – Friday, 8-11pm –The Eno River Association hosts its annual festival online this year, complete with a live broadcast from the The Carolina Theatre. Celebrating the Eno River, the event will feature live and recorded music headlined by The Hamiltones, a virtual crafts market, environmental education and more.
July 4th Cars and Coffee – Saturday, 8-11am – Hosted by Cars and Coffee Morrisville and the Heart of Carolina Mustang Club, this event showcases American-made cars parked at 5425 Page Rd. Other cars are welcome!
Fourth of July at Unscripted – Saturday, noon-10pm – Unscripted Hotel celebrates the Fourth of July with Independence Day-themed dishes and cocktails for lunch and dinner. Two DJs will perform on-site at separate times, with DJ Special K on from noon to 5pm and DJ Josh Price spinning from 6pm to 10pm.
Independence Day in the Beer Garden – Saturday, 5pm – Microbrewery and bottle shop The Glass Jug Beer Lab hosts a party this Fourth of July complete with a barbecue food truck, Italian ice and an outdoor screening of “The Sandlot” later that evening.
Movies on the Monster – Saturday, 6:30pm – The Durham Bulls Athletic Park screens Marvel’s “Captain America: The First Avenger” as part of its Movies on the Monster event series. Guests can reserve “pods” in the stadium for up to 10 people. Following the film will be a virtual fireworks show. Gates open at 6:30pm, and the movie starts at 8pm.
