Take a Walk: Pups & Their Owners Raise Paws and Funds for APS of Durham

The annual Walk for the Animals invites pets and their owners on a morning walk around Duke’s East Campus, all to raise money for the Animal Protection Society of Durham, which cares for nearly 6,000 animals annually. A total of 439 people registered for this year’s event, with more than $65,000 raised currently of the organization’s $80,000 goal – you can still make a donation here! The top individual fundraisers were Aura Heine, Barbara Barron and Hugo Linfors, while the top team fundraisers included Paw Patrol, Colony Park Animal Hospital and SCS Creativity Animal.
