Porchetta

PorchettaNow that Porchetta‘s Southpoint food court location is up and running, Account Executive Ellen Farber couldn’t keep away from that pork-centric goodness!

Luna Rotisserie and Empanadas

FullSizeRenderIt may not look like much now, but this space on West Main Street will transform into Luna Rotisserie and Empanadas in July, with South American fare and cocktails. Also available: local beer and agua frescas, just in time to help you beat the heat.

Popnic

PopnicChef Ben Adams, formerly of Piedmont restaurant, is launching a new barbecue joint in north Durham with Wyatt Dickson of Pig Whistle whole hog barbecue catering. They’re calling the venture Picnic, and it’s tentatively set to open in the fall. The restaurant will use pigs from third partner Ryan Butler‘s Green Button Farm, which played host to this pop-up dinner on Saturday.
