After touring Sierra Nevada‘s new brewing facility in Mills River, N.C., during a recent trip to Asheville, associate editor Amanda MacLaren was pleased to find one of her favorites, the limited-edition Beer Camp, on the bottle list at Dain’s Place. Here’s to patio weather and new North Carolina beer!

Yes, VP of Content Andrea Griffith Cash headed to Juju once again. It’s so fast and delicious!
The Makery
After completing the Fullsteam run, assistant editor Jessica Stringer stopped in The Makery for the first time and made a mental note to stop by next time she needs to buy gifts.
Home Roam
Andrea went on the Home Roam house tour in The Oaks in Chapel Hill (a great annual Junior League event) and noticed a copy of Durham Magazine on display!
Blue Corn Cafe
Amanda is a sucker for Blue Corn Cafe‘s chicken quesadilla. They always have amazing specials, too!
WRAL
Andrea went on WRAL’s noon newscast to talk Taste 2015! Tickets are going fast now that we are about a week out!
Mami Nora’s
Jessica is not embarrassed to admit she’s been to Mami Nora’s more than once this month. An ordering tip: get the fries and dip them in the yellow sauce.
Oval Park Grille
Amanda’s lucky to have a plethora of neighborhood restaurants and bars to choose from. Last Friday called for a trip to Oval Park Grille for a Sharkinator from Lost Coast Brewery.
The Parlour
On her first trip back to The Parlour since its reopening, Jessica got a cone of Vietnamese Coffee ice cream, but had her eyes on all the baked goods for next time.
