Raven is a gentle, lovely Pit mix who’s about 2 years old. She’s a sweet girl who loves people and attention, and she can be quite playful when she warms up (she’ll chase after a ball and even bring it back!). She pays attention nicely for food treats and is excellent with other dogs (she’d be best matched with a gentle, younger male canine companion). One of the volunteers that works with Raven says she loves to go walking on the trail and is wonderful on leash – she’d be a great hiking companion. She knows how to sit and will also lie down on command. Plus, she loves to snuggle. “This girl is the complete package!” the volunteer says. “Well-mannered, food-motivated and super sweet.” Raven will be a fabulous family pet.

Raven lives in kennel 10. For more information about Raven, contact doginfo@apsofdurham.org. To view her webpage, visit apsofdurham.org/raven.

Adoption fees for dogs and puppies typically range from $100-$175, which includes a basic medical exam, spay or neuter surgery, microchip implantation, rabies and other vaccinations, intestinal parasite check, heartworm test and deworming.

Thanks to our sponsors, new owners of each adopted featured pet will receive a complimentary first wellness visit from Park Vet Hospital, a pet pillow from Sew Fine II, a $25 gift card to Rockwood Furniture and a free day of boarding at Sunny Acres Pet Resort.
