Luna is a sweet, pretty Pit mix and about 2 years old. She came to the shelter with her adorable puppies to whom she was a wonderful mom. She’s gentle, social and eager to please, with a rather submissive side that will respond to kind handling and training. She gets along with low-key male dogs and would also be happy as an only dog. We believe Luna is deaf or hard of hearing, but since she pays attention nicely, she should be very trainable. She’ll do best in a calm, low-stress environment with a predictable routine so she knows what to expect.
Luna is looking for a kind, patient person, couple or family with older children who’ll give her the loving home she deserves.
Luna lives in kennel 37. For more information about Luna, contact doginfo@apsofdurham.org. To view her webpage, visit apsofdurham.org/luna.
