Eve Keil is a leadership coach and International Coaching Federation-certified relationship coach with a passion for empowering women. Keil draws on her expertise from her dual master’s degrees in communications and health and wellness coaching from Peking University and Maryland University of Integrative Health, respectively, coupled with multiple coaching accreditations and the wisdom gained from her own personal journey in order to support women with a holistic approach, helping them reclaim their self-worth, overcome self-limiting beliefs and find both personal and professional fulfillment.

Keil started an online community called “Heal, Empower, Love” through her business, EK Coaching LLC, in September 2022, offering free resources, support and connection among members with the goal of providing women guidance in rebuilding themselves after experiencing personal distress or unhappiness. We spoke to Keil about her tailored coaching approach for professional women, success stories, overcoming challenges, dispelling misconceptions, building self-esteem, navigating technology and offering advice for growth.

[It] stems from my own journey of healing and growth, as well as my deep-rooted passion for supporting women in similar journeys. After overcoming my own struggles with toxic relationships, I felt a calling to create a space where women could find solace, encouragement and the tools to rebuild themselves. The driving force behind this community is a profound belief in the transformative power of love and empowerment. I wanted to create a virtual haven where women could come together, share their stories, and embark on a journey of self-discovery and healing in a supportive and nurturing environment.

From my experience, professional women often grapple with the daunting task of balancing career success with personal fulfillment. Despite achieving remarkable strides in their professional lives, many find themselves struggling with inner battles such as self-doubt and insecurity, particularly in the realm of relationships. This delicate balancing act can lead to feelings of emptiness and disconnection, despite outward achievements. Through my work, I aim to shed light on these challenges and provide women with the guidance and support they need to navigate them with grace and resilience.

My coaching approach is deeply rooted in empathy, understanding and a genuine desire to meet each woman exactly where she is on her journey. I recognize that every woman’s experience is unique, and as such, I tailor my approach to cater to her individual needs and circumstances. Whether she’s navigating the aftermath of a toxic relationship or seeking to cultivate self-love and empowerment, I strive to provide personalized guidance and support that empowers her to reclaim her inner strength and rewrite her narrative on her own terms. My signature program, LOVEolution5, isn’t just a road map guiding women through a transformative odyssey of self-discovery and empowerment; it’s crafted to address prevalent underlying issues like codependency, attachment styles and trauma bonding, enabling individuals to break themselves free from toxic behavioral patterns.

Witnessing the profound impact of our live trainings. Over the course of five months, I conducted 27 sessions that resonated deeply with our members, instilling hope, strength and newfound perspective. The heartfelt messages and testimonials detailing the transformative effects of these sessions reaffirmed the significance of our community’s mission and its power to facilitate personal growth and healing.

For many women, the journey toward healing can feel like an isolating uphill battle. I’ve sought to create a warm and nurturing space within our community, where women feel seen, heard and supported without judgment or fear. I empathize with their vulnerability and celebrate their courage and strength. By fostering a sense of trust and belonging, I empower women to reach out for support, whether it’s through our online resources, group discussions or one-on-one complimentary discovery calls. I understand that taking the first step can be daunting, but I’m here to walk alongside them every step of the way.

One common misconception I encounter is the belief that external achievements or validations hold the key to fulfillment. Many women equate success solely with career accomplishments or societal expectations, overlooking the importance of self-love and inner fulfillment.

Another common myth is the notion that “you can’t have it all.” Many feel compelled to prioritize either their career or personal life, believing that success in one area requires sacrificing the other. The truth is fulfillment isn’t a zero-sum game. Instead, it’s about creating harmony and balance, pursuing both professional achievements and personal happiness simultaneously. It’s about redefining success on their own terms and crafting a life that encompasses all their desires and aspirations.

Cultivating self-esteem and self-love is not just about mindfulness exercises, journaling prompts, affirmations and self-care rituals – it’s a deeply personal journey of self-discovery and acceptance. It leads you to the depths of one’s being, unraveling layers of self-doubt and insecurities to unearth the radiant core of authenticity and worthiness. Additionally, we encourage women to surround themselves with a supportive community of like-minded individuals who uplift and empower them on their journey. By fostering a positive self-image and inner strength, women can navigate life’s challenges with resilience, grace and unwavering confidence.

I emphasize the importance of setting clear boundaries, staying true to oneself and remaining vigilant for any red flags. It’s crucial to recognize the “butterflies” feeling, which can sometimes be a sign of trauma bonding. Above all, I encourage healing before dating. Women need to take the time to heal and rebuild themselves. Rushing into relationships while still in a state of brokenness often leads to attracting partners who are similarly wounded, creating a false sense of safety based on familiarity. Ultimately, it’s about honoring your own journey of healing and growth, allowing yourself the time and space to fully heal before embarking on new connections.

To all the incredible women out there who may be feeling lost and discouraged by the weight of your struggles, I want you to know this: No matter how deep the pain or how overwhelming the sense of hopelessness may seem, this is not the end of your story. It’s the beginning of a powerful journey to rebirth. Just like the ancient Japanese art of Kintsugi, which repairs broken pottery with gold, your experiences of brokenness offer a unique opportunity for transformation and renewal. Embrace this chance to rebuild yourself into a masterpiece, adorned with the golden threads of resilience and self-discovery. Take each step with courage and intention, knowing that with every moment of healing, you’re unveiling the empowered, radiant woman within. You are capable of incredible growth and transformation, and I believe in you!

My aspirations center around expanding its reach and impact. I aim to diversify our offerings with tailored resources and support, including workshops, courses and partnerships with like-minded organizations. By amplifying our collective voice and fostering a culture of empowerment and inclusivity, I envision our community as a beacon of hope and transformation for women worldwide, empowering them to reclaim their worth, embrace their authenticity and cultivate lives filled with love and purpose.
