You may recognize Kim Lan Grout. She graces the cover of Durham Magazine’s Women’s Issue (the May issue). Two years ago, Kim Lan launched The Redefining Disabled Project, a photo and short narrative series featuring people with various disabilities, as a way to tell raw stores and expose what life with a disability is really like. In this episode, Andrea also dishes about Chapel Hill’s Midway Community Kitchen, which hosts cooking classes, pop-up markets and dinners, and free and sliding scale food/nutrition classes.
