Let’s get ZIGGY with it! This friendly guy loves affection and scratches and already knows how to “sit” and “shake” with both paws. Staff at the Animal Protection Society of Durham learned that he loves to sleep under blankets and appears to be fully house-trained. Ziggy is working on learning his new shelter name and on coming when called. He’s warmed up quickly to strangers and allowed petting but would benefit from slow intros. He is strong and can get excited, and would also benefit from loose leash training, especially around small animals, which he likes to chase. For this reason, he’ll likely do best in a home without cats. At the end of the day, Ziggy is a good boy with big ears and a bigger heart. He’ll thrive with someone who gives him a couple of walks per day, has time to put into training and is strong enough to handle him on leash while he’s learning. Visit Ziggy’s webpage to learn more and come visit him today at APS!
