This boy is affectionate and eager to please. He’ll make the perfect sidekick to anyone willing to offer him belly rubs and scratches. Socks is currently learning how to safely play with other dogs, but staff at the Animal Protection Society of Durham say he’s doing quite well. He can be anxious at the shelter, but after romping outside on hikes around Durham, he showcased a confident and calm side. Socks does not do well with feline friends or small dogs and needs some time to warm up, but that’s understandable since he was found as a stray and has spent more than four months at the shelter. Visit Socks’ webpage to learn more, and come pay him a visit at the shelter today!
