Some might say it’s love at first sight with this fluffy guy. Biscuit arrived to the Animal Protection Society of Durham on June 5 as an owner surrender. He’s the type of guy that is sensitive but quick to warm up. He enjoys a gentle sniffing partner and would make a fabulous walking buddy. Biscuit’s not too fond of chaotic playtime but more interested in treats and gentle affection, and maybe a splash in the pool. Biscuit is just a simple man ready to wiggle his way into your heart. Visit Biscuit’s webpage to learn more and come help him find his forever home today!

The Animal Protection Society of Durham, located at 2117 E. Club Blvd., is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been helping animals in the community since 1970, and has managed the Durham County Animal Shelter since 1990. In addition to county funding, APS relies on donations from individuals and corporations to feed, shelter and provide medical attention for the nearly 7,000 stray, surrendered and abused animals it cares for each year. APS of Durham is open to the public for adoptions and animal visitations. To set up a virtual visit or to adopt, send adoption forms to adopt@apsofdurham.org. Same-day adoptions are now available in the shelter. For more information, email adopt@apsofdurham.org.
