Shona is a sweet, sensitive girl who loves to carry a ball around. She’s a bit shy at first, but warms up to new friends quickly. She likes treats and gentle affection once she gets to know you. Mostly she’s looking for a person with lots of gentle love to give, who can go slow with her … and who has a ball. Is that person you?
For the month of June, APS is offering a pick-your-price promotion, where you decide what you’d like to pay for your cat, kitten or large dog. To set up a virtual visit or to adopt, send adoption forms to [email protected]. To view Shona’s webpage, visit apsofdurham.org/dogs/shona. Same-day adoptions are now available in the shelter!
Adoption fees for dogs and puppies typically range from $100-$175. This includes a basic medical exam, spay or neuter surgery, microchip implantation, rabies and other vaccinations, intestinal parasite check, a heartworm test and deworming.
