Poppy at Animal Protection Society of Durham

Poppy is happy playing and romping, or snuggling and chilling. If you’re looking for a love bug to sleep at your feet or greet you with wags and wiggles, she’s your girl.

Poppy is currently in foster care. To set up a virtual visit or to adopt, send adoption forms to adopt@apsofdurham.org. To view her webpage, visit apsofdurham.org/dogs/poppy.

Adoption fees for dogs and puppies typically range from $100-$175. This includes a basic medical exam, spay or neuter surgery, microchip implantation, rabies and other vaccinations, intestinal parasite check, a heartworm test and deworming.

Thanks to our sponsors, new owners of each adopted featured pet will receive a complimentary first wellness visit from Park Veterinary Hospital & Urgent Care and a free full day of camp at Camp Bow Wow.

The shelter is open Mon.-Tue. and Thu.-Fri., 10:30am-5pm; Wed. 10:30am-6pm; and Sat. 10am-2pm. For more information, call 919-560-0640 or visit www.apsofdurham.org.
