Sonam Chorus – Singers of New Ancient Music Fall Concert @ First Presbyterian Church

Listen to beautiful music and help connect veterans with service dogs!
On Sunday November 13th, 2016 at 2:30 pm, SONAM will sing a concert on the themes of war and peace at First Presbyterian Church in Durham, NC. The hour-long concert will range from anguished laments to comforting blessings, featuring composers from Germany, Estonia, Spain, France, and the United States. A suggested $10 donation will benefit Vets to Vets United to support their work in partnering veterans with service dogs from local shelters. 8th Annual Beach Shack Boil Fundraiser @ The Rickhouse

Come see the Tree of Bikes before those bikes are gifted to deserving Durham children for the holidays, and vote for your favorite tree decorated by a local nonprofit or business during the Triangle Christmas Tree Challenge. Duke Health 5K Benefiting Positive Impact for Kids @ Southern Community Park

The Chapel Hill Police Department is partnering with Carrboro High’s 17-year-old Leanne Joyce, president and founder of Positive Impact for Kids.
Walk, run or volunteer and join us for music, food and fun!

KIDS 12 AND UNDER: Chase the Chief – a 1 mile fun run starting at 2:15 PM. With a 1 minute head start, kids race to beat Chief Blue to the finish line!

Proceeds benefit Duke Children’s and UNC Children’s Hospitals.

Donald has been visiting The Fearrington Barn to spin his tales for over 20 years and is one of the foremost storytellers in the country. He has been featured at the World’s Fair, the Smithsonian Institution, the National Storytelling Festival, and as guest host on NPR’s “Good Evening.”
In lieu of admission, donations of canned goods to Chatham Outreach Alliance and gently used children’s books to Book Harvest will be accepted. This event fills up quick so get there early!

Triangle Real Producers Magazine Charity Golf Tournament @ Hasentree

Toll Brothers, the nation’s leading builder of luxury homes and developer of fine communities across the Triangle, is pleased to announce it will be hosting the Triangle Real Producers Magazine Charity Golf Tournament, a golf tournament benefitting Duke Children’s Hospital. The event will take place on Monday, Oct. 23, at Toll Brothers’ Hasentree community in Wake Forest, North Carolina.

The tournament will begin at 8:30 a.m. The cost to participate in the event is $60, and all funds directly benefit the patients of Duke Children’s Hospital. Golfers are encouraged to register early because the number of participants is limited. Charity golfers and guests will enjoy a complimentary lunch as well as craft beer from White Street Brewing Company following the tournament.

Triangle Real Producers Magazine is dedicated to increasing the sense of connection and community among residents and the top-producing realtors of the Triangle. The monthly magazine leverages its real estate partnerships to hold numerous social events within the Triangle area.

ABOUT
The Muse Masquerade is an immersive evening of music, theater, dance, tarot, poetry & circus arts at 21c Museum Hotel. This is a one-of-a-kind fundraiser that reflects the innovative model and quirky spirit that defines The Carrack, and its success is driven by the dynamic arts community we serve.

Proceeds raised at The Muse Masquerade fund The Carrack’s 2018 operations. The Carrack is a free, zero-commission gallery that provides exhibition and performance opportunities to underrepresented artists. The Carrack was founded in 2011 on West Parrish Street and is currently located at 947 East Main Street.
