Satoshi Omakase Dinner Series
Chef Satoshi Katakura is returning to Durham this October! For the first time since 2019, we at Dashi are welcoming our friend & Japanese Chef back to the Bull City to join Dashi’s own Billy Cotter for a special collaborative omakase series this October 3-6. Traveling from Japan, Satoshi is the Head Chef at Hiro, an izakaya in the Nakameguro neighborhood of Tokyo. Each trip sparks innovative and unique dishes that Dashi Executive Chef Billy Cotter and Satoshi craft together by visiting markets and farms in the Triangle. This longstanding partnership that has spanned years and continents has given both chefs new approaches to culinary techniques and flavors that spark distinctive, one-of-a-kind menus at each omakase series.
