“Poetry, Imagination, and the Call to Ministry,” a lecture and discussion with Rev. Dr. Malcolm Guite

In conjunction with Duke Divinity School, Duke Initiatives in Theology and the Arts hosts renowned poet and theologian Rev. Dr. Malcolm Guite for a residency. Dr. Guite will offer a public lecture on the relationship between poetry and the vocation of ministry and soul care.

Dr. Guite is a fellow and chaplain at Girton College Cambridge, and his work was recently featured in both the New York Times and Christianity Today, where he was called “a tribal elder for younger generations.” We hope you can join us! The lecture will take place in Duke Divinity School on Duke University’s West Campus in room Westbrook 0012.
