For the Love of Clay: A Celebration + Fundraiser
Claymakers has been a cornerstone for the ceramic arts in Durham for over 20 years. As a nonprofit, Claymakers offers classes to help folks find creative expression in clay, studio assistantships to teach aspiring artists the craft of running a studio, affordable studio space for independent clay artists and exhibition opportunities for people to share their work.
The nonprofit survived a pandemic and a big relocation. Now, Claymakers is getting ready to celebrate its community, growth and connection with a big party and a fundraiser for a new wheel classroom!
Join Claymakers on Thursday, Feb. 9 for an evening of incredible desserts, revelry and pots galore – all For the Love of Clay!
The event includes:
- Killer desserts from local restaurants (including Snap Pea, Foster’s Market, Ninth Street Bakery, Monuts, Toast, Pie Pushers, Jack Tar & The Colonel’s Daughter, WonderPuff and more) and a cash bar
- Silent auction featuring premium local pottery, gift certificates, and more
- Raffles for clay classes and supplies
