Durham Greek Festival 2023

After a 3-year pandemic hiatus, the Durham Greek Festival is back! Opa!!  Join us for fabulous, authentic Greek food and scrumptious desserts for outdoor tented dining or take-out. Admission is free and the event will be held rain or shine.  A portion of the festival proceeds will benefit Ukrainian relief.

There will be continuous Greek music and scheduled folk dance performances. Bring your dancing feet and join in the spontaneous Greek community dancing! The Taverna will offer Greek wines and beer. Vendors will feature popular Greek grocery items and traditional breads, original artwork, jewelry, Boho chic fashions, Greek ceramics and souvenirs, Ukrainian crafts and more, plus our award-winning community cookbook The Grecian Plate (over 50,000 copies sold!).  The Attic Treasures Sale will offer collectibles and many other items for all budgets.  Tours of our landmark Byzantine-style, domed church will feature our beautiful new iconography.
