Back in the days of magic, a horrifying fire-breathing dragon terrorized the sixth-century British countryside. The only hope for the beleaguered citizens is an aging sorcerer (Sir Ralph Richardson) and his young apprentice, Galen (Peter MacNicol). Their mission is complicated by resistance from the King, but their greatest challenge comes when they come face-to-face with the dreaded monster. For Galen to succeed, it will take more than magic to defeat the dragon.
