Communities In Schools of Durham 8th Annual Change Makers Breakfast Celebrates Business Partnerships and Inspires with Stories of Commitment and Overcoming will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at 8:00 AM at Croasdaile Country Club, 3800 Farm Gate Avenue, Durham, NC 27705.
Communities In Schools of Durham champions the use of evidence-based programs to help youth stay in school, graduate on time, and succeed in life. As a part of the most effective dropout-prevention network in the U.S., we change the outcome of thousands of youth in Durham.
The annual event is our opportunity to share our organizations vision, accomplishments, and tools for success, acknowledge donors and applaud staff and key individuals and sponsors. Guest will hear from School Administrators and CISD Program Directors, alumni, parents and student testimonies.
A highlight of the event includes award announcements for Principal of the Year, Teacher of the Year, and Corporate Partner of the Year. Our guest speaker will be Durham Public Schools Superintendent, Dr. Pascal Mubenga.
The event is complimentary. However, there will be a moment during the program where you will have an opportunity to make a contribution to CISD. Registration is required.
