Beaver Queen Pageant
The Beaver Queen Pageant is the Triangle’s own special mix of folly, pageantry, and humor. Contestants take on beaver personalities and compete for the title of Beaver Queen with their fashion, talent, and personality. The theme for the 18th Annual Beaver Queen Pageant is “Camp Bushy Valley” or Summer Camp! There will be music, a kid’s art activity booth, food trucks, and much more! Come enjoy the fun at this family-friendly and free event which raises funds for the Ellerbe Creek Watershed Association. Vote for your favorite contestants – or bribe a judge – at www.beaverqueen.org. You are not going to want to miss this truly weird and delightful Durham experience.
