Andrew Duhon
New Orleans native Andrew Duhon has a unique, soulful, deeply mesmerizing voice that he uses to tell his stories with the help of his stellar bottleneck/side-guitar playing.
There is something very sincere, down-to-earth and uplifting in his songs, although anchored in a real tradition. Andrew Duhon seems to know how to connect viscerally with an audience, every time he picks up his guitar and stands in front of a crowd. The varied influences in Duhon’s music—John Prine, Jim Croce, Lightnin’ Hopkins, Mississippi John Hurt, Allen Toussaint and others—meet in a place where folk, country and pop comfortably coexist.
For this show, Andrew will be accompanied by upright bassist Myles Weeks.
