18th Annual Strawberry Festival
The Strawberry Festival is a family-fun community event in Downtown Durham hosted by Central Park School for Children, a K-8 charter school.
For more than a decade, we’ve been dipping strawberries in chocolate, painting faces and strawberry fingernails, enjoying fantastic local bands and food, offering fun-filled activities, hosting a fabulous silent auction where you can bid on a wide variety of items and gift cards, and creating a strawberry-filled day each year where everyone can be a kid again.
Our festival is a Green Event. At the end of previous festivals we only had 1 bag of trash! Durham H2O 2 Go will be bringing their water bottle refill station!
