Chris and Julie met briefly at Motorco and then at Fullsteam in summer 2015, bonding over a conversation about Spain. Then, after a chance meeting at RDU in December, the pair went on their first official date.
One May evening, as the couple relaxed in their backyard hammock, Chris “popped up and said he’d be right back,” Julie explains. “A few minutes later he walked out of the house carrying a guitar case and a small cooler.” Chris began to play “No Place Like the Right Time” by Donna the Buffalo.
