Duke Performances Presents Jóhann Jóhannsson’s Drone Mass featuring ACME and Theatre of Voices @ Baldwin Auditorium - Duke University

Golden Globe-winning and Oscar-nominated composer Jóhann Jóhannsson is joined by American Contemporary Music Ensemble (ACME), Theatre of Voices and conductor Donato Cabrera to present his 2015 composition Drone Mass, based on the Coptic Gospel of the Egyptians. The hour-long work was commissioned by ACME for its 10th anniversary season and premiered at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
