This year’s theme “Take Flight” is a follow-up to the highly successful ENVISION event held on January 10, 2016. We will discuss ways to keep your energy and passions high as you navigate your way through the upcoming year. This half-day experience on Saturday, January 7, 2017 will allow women to: 1) reflect on their personal and professional goals, 2) explore the lens through which women define and express themselves, and 3) explore opportunities to network with other attendees. As part of this experience, women will create vision boards, engage in reflective conversations, and enjoy a little pampering complements of a local masseuse. An addition to this year’s ENVISION event is a “No Pressure” Networking Happy Hour in partnership with the American Heart Association. Pillar Consulting staff will offer specialized professional development and networking strategies, while AHA staff will offer educational resources and on-site blood pressure screening. Attendees will also be provided with opportunities to join AHA’s Check. Change. Control® program which offers structured support through blood pressure monitoring and management. Bring your sister, daughter, friend, coworker, aunt–whoever you’d like to join you on this adventure! Whether you are a first time #ENVISIONer or a veteran, we’re excited to have you join the fun! Nebbiolo vs. Sangiovese Wine Class @ The Fearrington Granary
Jan 19 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Two of Italy’s most noble and distinctive grapes are Nebbiolo and Sangiovese. Each has their own strong following in the wine community. Some prefer Nebbiolo, a grape that tests the balance of its tannic, high alcohol, and high acid properties while still delivering one of the most rewarding wine experiences.
Some prefer the crunchy, red fruit, herbal perfume of the Sangiovese grape. In the hands of a master it can transform into a muscular Brunello di Montalcino, or an easier drinking Chianti perfect with a hearty bowl of pasta.
Whichever grape camp you stand behind, each has a masterful history that has solidified its claim to the top of Italy’s grape varietal hierarchy.
$50 includes wine, cheese plate, service fee and tax. Reserve at 919.542.2121.
