Maky's holiday adventuresHere’s a win-win scenario: Give a unique gift that also serves to protect the most endangered mammal on the planet – Madagascar’s lemurs.

Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club once again launches a holiday-themed children’s coloring book, “Maky’s Holiday Adventures at The Inn” – and with every book sold, proceeds will go to the Duke Lemur Center.

The center houses the world’s largest and most diverse population of lemurs outside Madagascar. Located on 70 acres in Duke Forest, just two miles from Duke‘s West Campus, it’s an internationally acclaimed research facility housing nearly 250 animals across 18 species.

The coloring book features “Maky the Lemur,” the center’s beloved mascot, and will be available from the inn’s gift shop and online starting November 28.
